| | Just wondering and curious to see how many Born-again Christians are on this site and what your take is on being a Christian (I mean "real Christians" who walk it) in or married to the Military. Mindy

| | I'm a Christian and served most of my adult life in uniform...what do you want to know?
|
|
| | Yes, I am a Christian. I find that it is very difficult, because I find that when people find out that you are...they tend to try you to see when you will pop or fall by the wayside. Or even when you do (we all do sometimes) you have to pick yourself up and go on despite what people say.

| | I didn't want to know anything. I'm a born-again Christian and just wanted to know how many like me would respond. I'm a Christian who believes the whole bible, healing, laying on of hands, speaking with other tongues, the importance of being filled with the Holy Spirit,..so I was just wondering if there were others in here with like belief. :)

| | I'm Lutheran, but not extreme about it..

|
| | I am a christian however I stick very closely to what the bible says. I am currently going to a southern baptist church. I love this church. There are exact directions about speaking in tongues in the bible. If they aren't followed then I don't agree with it. Otherwise I know plently of folks in the military that are christians. In fact I work with several it makes for a nice environment.

| | My hubby and I are both Christians. We believe in what the KJV bible says, and I was raised Missionary Baptist, although I don't agree with a lot of that now. I'm not big into religion because I haven't found one that really feels right yet, although it's hard cause I'm still living with my parents and I know if my dad found out I went to a different church, crap would hit the fan. Anyway, that's pretty much it for me. I don't believe in laying on of hands or speaking in tongues, I believe that happened just the one time when God needed it to, but I try not to discriminate against others beliefs.

| | I am not a "born again" Christian and have always had a problem with term because I don't quite understand it. I have been Lutheran through and through throughout my entire life and have never strayed from the beliefs, values and morals that I have been raised with.

| | I am Catholic, but believe God doesn't care what denomination you belong, that inherently as long as you are a good person he will take care of you. (He may test you from time to time).

|
| | I'm christian because I believe in christ . I believe that all conventional religion is a device we all use to express belief and faith and when I say all I mean everyones including my own. I do believe that any religion that believes that thier belief system is the only way to god is way far off the mark and farther themselves from god than they think. We are all gods children and anyone thats an essentially good person has it right.
