ok this isn't a comparison, i want more of a feed back from both sides. now heres the story. My name is Anthony and i've always loved airplanes. since i was little kid i wanted to join the Air Force i mean hell no one told me any different. But now i've signed for 6yr enlistment with the Air Force and leave January 16th 2007 for lackland Air Force base. But when i look at a marine i see Distingushment, Honor, and Pride. I didn't join right out of high school because i my parents asked me to try college first, now i'm signing because i don't like college and every time i see that we lost another soilder i feel that i should be over there too. instead of sitting here on my ass in the states. well any response will be helpful.

If you want to get your hands dirty, than become a marine. Or security forces for the air force. I just depends on the job you choose.

Its up to you. Pride of self of unit or of the things that you do to make a differance. Aircraft Maintenance Technicians are needed to keep those bombers, tankers or fighters in the air so do you like the fact your acft could bomb with precision. Or would you rather shoot someone yourself?

I'm a Marine in the Airwing, so of course I'm going to tell you to joing the Marines. I'm a helicopter Crew Chief. I'm responsible for the mechanical safety of the helicopter, and the safety of everyone on board. It's a demanding job, long hours, but it's worth it. If you want a paycheck every 1st and 15th, you can join either one. Being a part of any branch of the armed forces is a challenge. Think about this. If you join the Army, you're not an Army, you're a soldier. If you join the Navy, you're not a Navy, you're a sailor. If you join the Air Force, you're not an Airforce, you're an airman. If you join the Marines, you are a Marine.
