Greetings:

I'm in the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington, D.C., the very one you young troops support with the deduction from your pay, and any fines or forfeitures you might have been assessed.

Maybe some of you might be living here someday.

Thank you.

Camp Zama, Japan. By far this is the best station I've had yet. Tokyo is an amazing place to go to when you're not working. :)

My home station is Ft Campbell. I have been with the 101 since March of 2002. Yeah...I know a loooong time huh? I am currently wrapping up my 3rd deployment with that division. I really like the Ft Campbell area. I am a country music fan so its pretty awesome to be an hour drive or so from the country music capitol of the WORLD! I would rather be in an aviation unit but I have no complaints with my current chain of command where I am at. I feel they care about each and every member of the unit equally and its really hard to find a chain of command like that. The NCOs I work for a pretty awesome too. I think that some of my peers need to grow up and learn how to be soldiers but other then that I have no complaints about being at fort campbell. I loved AIR ASSAULT school. It was not only a challence but it was also a fun experience for me. Some people call Ft Campbell a "Black Hole" because once you go there once you never leave. Even if you do PCS to another post chances are you will eventually go back there before you retire. I hope you and your husband enjoy fort campbell.
