Army girlfriend in need of trusting issues advice!!!

I've been with my Military boyfriend for about 7 months. He is gonna be deployed in October. He is so concerned that I will cheat on him. I'm in love with him, and to me 1 year is a small price to pay for the rest of my life with him. I know he's had bad experiences in the past, but what can I do to let him know that I am faithful and he can trust me, I'm not the others. He is worth the wait!!!

All you can do is be patient and hope that he see's what you do and will understand that you will be there. Just support him while he is gone, email, skype, instant messaging and writing him. It is always heart warming when you receive a letter or package from a loved one.

+1 to being patient, most of the time it just takes time. It is always good to email, skype, and IM. But sometimes people need space, so make sure you know if doing this constantly is going to annoy him. Even on a Deployment getting constant reminders things are moving along at home without you can get very disheartening very quickly. Best things to talk about are things you are going to do when he gets back, and not things that are going on now.

Try to stay away from parties, and not mention them if you do go to the occasional birthday shindig. And try your best to make sure that there is no gossip coming back to him from friends that they saw you with xxx guy somewhere. Or they are constantly seeing you around this guy or that guy. Once again, only time can tell. Even the best letter can be spoiled by someone saying they saw you around someone else.
