Question about JAG/Navy

I am planning on enlisting in the Navy and I was wondering if you go in as Legalman are you able to get schooling and eventually transfer over to JAG while enlisted? Sorry if this question is a little confusing.

Also, are there very many women Aviation Rescue Swimmers because I am also very interested in that.

If you enter as a legalman, you'll already be a part of JAG...that's where Legalman work.

I'm sure since they're allowing women into the submarine service, they'll allow them to be rescue swimmers.
