Hello everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself. I found this site just a few days ago and found it to quite a cool site. I am a Navy prior service with 4yrs TIS and have recently signed back into the armed forces as a 19D Calvary Scout in the US Army. I am a college graduate who was non-select for OCS at the USAREC level but I still wanted to be part of the Army so I enlisted. Being prior service I didn't gave a great deal of chocies as far as MOS but the more I have learned about this job the more anxious I am about frying started! I am also a bit of an older man who will get to run again with the young bucks in OSUT. Today I got to feel my age I threw my back out this morning, yeah but nothing will hold be back! I leave for OSUT in March 22, 2011 so plenty of time to get back into order and prep for my future! I have been training for OCS previously for 6 mths so I feel a little better about where I am at just have to learn not to push myself so hard! I am also married with a baby on the way and she is very much so quite supportive about what we are doing! I have to honest to I plan to attempt an OCS acceptance once in AD again and if it fails before I'm to old then Warrant it is, I am also half way done with my MBA so I want to utilize my degrees!
