| | My unit (HHC 37th STB) is set to deploy to Camp Spann in the near future. I was wondering if anyone can provide me with some details of the living conditions (living quarters, communication with home, defac situation, etc) as well as the currnt combat tempo in the area, particularly in the Balkh provence. Any help would be appreciated.

| | Hey Matt, I said I would get back to ya about Spann. Well I am still stuck in Kabul. Be ready for tight quarters and busy little post. My poc up at spann says there are some hard billetts and vague internet. Most living is done out of tents and look up roshan. That is the tele sevice there. supposedly works pretty good there though pricey. Internet is available but costly and variable. Rumor is it is peaceful though. Good luck and if I find out more I will let ya know.
