So, it has been 4 years since I left the Marine Corps, and I find myself missing it more and more. I don't miss the people who were absolutely negative and just overly pushy for no reason, but I miss living out in the field, I miss the action, I miss the danger, I miss the adventure.

If you're in the same boat as me, what kind of things do you do to fill that void?

I bounced around looking for something & not finding it until I found my current Motorcycle Club.
The Brotherhood is what I missed.
As for action, I work in a Prison, I get enough of that there! !

Things changed A LOT man. More politics at lower levels, more 'hand holding' since people can't act like grown ass men. It's a shame that I saw the MC even creep into my field. But I took my skill and got a pretty decent job working with and teaching guys in the same field so...

SAEPE EXPERTUS SEMPER FIDELIS BROTHERS; let's all face it, it's the BROTHERHOOD,for some the " BROTHERHOOD FORGED UNDER FIRE " as well as the TRust we have for one another that we miss. None of us will ever be the same. Those that aren't MARINES can never relate 100% to us nor understand the way we feel & always will. Even after 40+ years no one has my love, respect & admoration like a fellow MARINE for he can be counted on anytime, anyplace. He's more than family, more than A BROTHER; he's an extension of myself.
