Air Force shoe polishing still??

So I recently joined the air force, transferring from the army, and I was just wondering, does the air force still polish their dress shoes, or is it just simply the dull black like when you buy it from clothing and sales??

I thought the Air Force have the bright finish Low Quarters or same as the Army.

When I went through basic in Oct 87 we shined our boots and low quarters. Once you left basic you could buy the Corafam low quarters, but still polished your boots. Now with the new suede boots their is no more shining, however I'm sure you still shine your low quarters in basic.
