Okay, so before we thought my son was going SERE however in the end because of a small differential in his eye sight they told him no. So then he went TMO (Transportation Management Office). He finished basic training at Lackland AFB just after the first of the year, went to TMO school, came home for a month's leave and now is at Minot AFB. I'm not complaining, he's 9 hours away for a while I can drive to see him. And he's happy so that's all that counts. :)
He wanted to go to Italy for his first duty station but that will happen sometime in his career. Really proud of this young man. I know he's proud of himself.
