Hey I was wondering if anyone could put my mind at ease,

Back in February of 2008 I had surgery done on my left ACL from a football accident, now the thing is that it's 2010 and my knee is great I can run and do all kinds of rigorous activities. I've sent in all medical documents and I even had the doctor who did my surgery write a note approving on me being able to perform rigorous activities. I'm just kind of nervous if the Navy docs will clear me and allow me to be a United States Marine, does anyone know?

Wow man. I had an ACL Reconstruction done on my left ACL (same surgery as you) on March 16th (same day you posted this). Weird shit. My recruiter said that honestly it won't be a problem. As long as you have all the documents, it should pass. The note from your doctor probably solidifies it. If it hurts a little at boot camp though, don't make a big scene about it because they could medically discharge you. I'm enlisting right at 18 this October, 7 months after my surgery.

But to answer your question bro...every recruiter/Marine I've talked to have said that as long as you do physical therapy and your knee is fully rehabilitated, the Corps should take you in. If you do run into any problems though let me know so I know. Good luck man.
