Buechel AB Germany 1980-83

This is my first post and I am very glad to be here.

I was wondering if there are any fellow Communications or SP friends here that were stationed at Buechel AB Germany in the early 80's.
Wow, what a fantastic location to be stationed at, right in the middle of the Mosel vineyards!

I wasn't station in Buechel in the early 80's, but I have just recieved orders to PCS there. Is there any information that you can give me about this assignment.

I was stationed there from 1974-76. Fantastic assignment. Small cadre of Americans there, less than 100. Our mission there was ended sometime in the late 1990's or early 2000's. I did not know that we were back on Buchel.
