Iraqi Campaign Medal with Campaign Star

I was in OIF from September 11, 2008 to Sept 11, 2009, and was just curious, it says I have the campaign star with it, so that would be a single bronze star, correct?

That's correct...basic medal plus a bronze star for each campaign. Here's a list of the campaign periods if it helps:
Liberation of Iraq - March 19 to May 1, 2003
Transition of Iraq - May 2, 2003 to June 28, 2004
Iraqi Governance - June 29, 2004 to Dec. 15, 2005
National Resolution - Dec. 16, 2005, until a date to be determined

For the Air Force side, If you have the medal in your records without a star it comes up flagged as improper number of devices. As far as I know, across the board you cannot have the ribbon without at least one device.
