I just wanted to know if anyone knew the actual time that you can reenlist for choice of duty station if you're deployed. I've been told many things and it's constantly changing. As far as I'm aware, I cannot PCS within 90 days after I redeploy and I cannot get orders for another duty station until atleast 8 months (5 months left in the Sandbox + months after I get back), or so I'm told. I just wanted to know if this is true because the retention NCO told me to come back about choice of duty station in Dec, then they said Jan, and now supposedly it's March. Can anyone that knows the truth about this issue, shed some light on it for me? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, it's 5 months left in the 'Box + 3 months after I get back. I just want to know what happens to your contract if you reenlist for a duty station and then find out you're deployment is extended, also?
I wouldn't get too wrapped up about choice of duty station, you never get an awesome assignment and most all of them end up in countries beginning with I or A :P sometimes you get a good assignment just by pure luck.
