Anyone else in the Signal Corps out there...feel free to leave a message and where you're stationed at and how you like it there. I, myself, am a 25P stationed in Ft. Lewis, WA (But currently deployed in Iraq with 3rd Stryker Bde). I am thinking about re-enlisting for choice of duty station and am also interrested if anyone has any suggestions about ststions they are at or have been at.

ex-31C, spent most of my time on Army boats, and finished it off by sitting in a Btn Commo shop fixing computers. Go to RIP, and have some fun in the Battalions. Those office jobs will suck the life out of ya...

It's not too bad, just small. I'm sure you know all about it. The PX is smaller than a shoppette in garrison and they don't even have an education center here. It's boring here but I'll take "boring" any day. I'm a 25P in an overstrength position in my unit so I'm slotted in a 25S position as a Satcom operator. Just counting down the days until R&R.

Been a long time since I was in Signal Corps, I was a 26V20 Strategic Systems Repairman, 7 months at Ft Monmouth, 13 in Korea (7/67-8/68 I told ya it was a long time) and 6 months at a light tropo company in Ft. Lewis. I'm now a retired firefighter, but Signal Corps was one of the high points of my life.

Still a 25B stationed @ HQ Souther Command in Miami, Florida. I am assigned to the 525th Signal Co. Which falls under 56 Signal BN from Ft Gordon. Great assignment. Cant beat Miami and all the activities here. Got promoted in Dec 2010 and things are getting better. :)

If you're signal, you can go just about anywhere...literally. Especially being a 25N, you're almost guaranteed to go somewhere tactical. I wish I could be more help but that's the best answer I can give to that question. Good Luck.
