Looking for an old friend.....

First off I just want to say that I appreciate all of the men and woman in the Navy and all branches of military that do everything they do for our country on a daily basis :) this is a tough one and also I am thinking my last resort but, I figured I'd try as I have nothing to lose. I am looking for an old friend last time I saw him was around 1994 at Naval Submarine School in Groton CT.
His name is John Goodson, not sure of spelling could be John, Jon or Johnathan we called him Goodson, he would be about 35-38, I believe he was from Alabama if not, it was defiantely the south as he had the sweetest little accent. I believe he is Taiwanese
not sure if he is still active or not, that's all I have other than he used to hang with a guy named John Tracy not much to go on I've found way too many John Goodson's and I wouldn't know where to begin so I'm hoping someone here knows him, I'd really love to reconnect with him and would appreciate any help.I'm not sure he'd remember me but we used to hang out on weekends at the dance club on the base,my name is Maryann. email maryann.birdsall@snet.net Thanks for reading :)

I found a John Goodson on Navy.togetherweserved.com He came in in 1991. He is from Alabama.....

I'm thinking not the same guy, my Goodson was in Submarine school in 93-94 (around that time) so he was just starting out :( my sister is pretty sure he was fom Alabama but, it could be any of the southern states as he had a southern accent.I've searched on alot of websites there are thousands of John Goodsons! at this point I'm afraid unless someone personally knows him I'm out of luck, it's very frustrating, wish I had more info to give. I'm thinking the biggest giveaway (if anyone knows him) is that he is taiwanese or some other asian descent and has a very "american" name :) I just hope someone who knows him reads this as I mostly want to know he is ok but would love to catch up with him.

is that the same one you found? problem is I'm not sure if his actual name is John or Johnathan we just called him Goodson and I know it was a John lol. and I'm not sure if the states are in the order that he was in I just saw Groton . Ct and figured it could be possible but alot of guys come to the base in Groton so who knows? ugh
