Site Redesign and Upgrades!

Mike and I are in the process of doing some feature upgrades, a site redesign, and some additions. We would like to hear your ideas and thoughts on anything that you may want added. We will do our best to try and accommodate any and all ideas. Don't hold back we can take the criticism (just be constructive about it).

Don't say "Man the forum system sucks!"

Instead say "Man the forum system sucks you should ..." :)

A few little ideas Mike and I have are upgrading the bases sections to be more user friendly and interactive
Maybe a groups section?
News section?


....etc.

Can you have the ribbons re organized and separated by branch or service? It's pretty annoying going through all branches ribbons

What i will do is provide options. The ability to filter based on branch as some users have been in more than one branch and need access to those other ribbons. So default would be "all" then you can select to narrow the ribbon display to only Army for instance.

Dennis, a couple of things that we spoke of earlier -
A) special Badges, such as the Combat Infantry Badge, would be great.
B) The layout for the Army medals is still not right. Unit Citations are worn separately from the personal medals, not mixed together.

Are you referring to the military signature? I have broken them out on the profile, or is that still not right? I have been working on the infantry badges, there is just a ton.

It's Both (sorta) The Signature has everything mixed together. On the profile SOME of the Unit Citations are broken out, but not all. On mine, the two RVN unit awards (the Cross of Gallantry and the Civic Action) are shown as if they were individual awards.

And you are right, the Army does have a LOT of badges. : - )

yea so does Air force and I haven't even got to the marines, navy or coast guard yet lol.
