active duty medic

I was just wondering what an active duty 68w does. I am in the reserves but due to the economic crisis my family and I are considering going active and I was just wondering what the active duty side of my MOS.

It depends on what type of unit you would wind up in or if you where assigned to a clinic or hospital. Unit medics tend to give shots and give IVs and simple examinations. For hospital or clinic duty you could wind up in any of the hospitals areas or assigned to any type of clinic, so there really is no telling what you would end up doing
