Recently I was certified to be a Chapter Resource Officer for our chapter #11 in Clearwater, Fl and I am here to say that this organization is the best. They take care of their veterans and their families too. Each chapter is different of course, depending on amount of members. National Service Officers are at your va regional offices and they are the ones beneficial to getting your DAV benefits. So visit your local chapter today and see what they can do for you, become a member.

I was medically retired and found the DAV very helpful. I hope everyone getting out talks with them. Do you know if there is a way to find out if there are any DAV members living in Japan? After a few years living in the States, my wife wants to be closer to her family.

I went to the VFW and they helped through the process. I have high regard for them.
