Well first day you will get to sleep by midnight if your lucky, then you will get up at 4 to about 5 TI's yelling at you. Maybe less for you since your female I dunno? HOOOOT this time of year so you may have a lot of black flag days and thats good for u! NO MARCHING :).

Just keep in mind its ALOT of BS to try and break you. Don't let it and think of it as an experience. Find something your good at IE (folding tee's in tiny squares, shinging boots, ironing...ect) and trade services with something thats good in an area you lack.

MONEY MAKING TIP: If your good in all areas (or good enough) then sell yourself (LOL not like that, where is your mind at?). For instance I sold my services at folding and ironing tee's for $25 for 3 shirts. :) Prolly made over 200$. This is the kicker, you WILL be making money during your time there and won't have no where to spend it! Oh Yea you can make money...

Ok back on target. That whole dont raise your hand to volunteer for anything, be careful but dont be the last person like me :) Latrine Queen! I got promoted soon after to chow runner HAHAHAHAH, But never had to do it as I then got promoted to element leader ? Who knows I guess they saw some leadership in me??? So volunteer for something just dont wait to be last just kinda of go with it.

Side notes:
Latrine Queen = Head person for cleaning the bathroom. If it's not done right YOU get in trouble.
Chow Runner: Person that has to report your flight to the Snake Pit before they can eat.
Snake Pit: Table where the TI's sit.. and they will yell at you.

Good Luck :)

well put. I had just about the same details. Element leader was fun though. My TI's didnt bother me as much as the others. But i did get an LOR for 15 people failing there wall locker inspections.

My only advice is to be quick and consistent at what you do and always listen (DO WHAT YOUR TOLD) and make sure that you study the book that your gonna get. It will be your bible throughout your whole time there. It will come in handy when your in the snake pit. Because i was element leader i only visited the snake pit 1 time. Or at least thats what i thought. You'll have a blast while your there.

Oh the snake pit, how I miss that place. I was there at least twice a week. They hated me. I loved it.
