War bonds lighters World war two lighters

Does anyone know if these used to be some kind of war posters or

Were these sayings on these lighters actually used in war times?

As for the lighters I would say check with Zippo since they were one of the biggest suppliers to front during WWII. The Posters I'll do some looking and let you know.
