| | I tried to get a job out at Luke but they're downsizing their Reserve detachment because apparently they're getting rid of their planes until 2010? This didn't make sense to me but I've heard it a few times so I guess I'll just wait a few years before putting it on my dream sheet again. What do you do at Luke?

| | Andrews...I'm in the Reserve but doing ROTC so I'll put Luke down for one of my first assignments when I go active. I want to finish school at Arizona State but no jobs out at Luke so if I go back I might end up going to March because I guess there's a shuttle from Luke. How are you liking the base? Do you know anything about what's going on with Davis Monthan - are they downsizing too or just Luke?

| | My husband is @ luke AFB. He's Security Forces. Currently in Iraq though. =/
Luke is such a great base, it pretty close to many things. We are from California, so to get home it's only a 5 hour drive. We have been here for about 3 years.

| | I was at Luke in the 944 reserve unit till Oct 87 about 4 yr's. The base is nice, The reserve unit is part of the base closer's. There is a guard unit at the air port down town. They have tankers. you might want to check with them. Or go active at luke. I went TDY to Elmendorf AFB and moved here to Alaska. I retired last yr.
