I'm a young Navy wife with military background so I figured it would be easier but it's not. How do other wives pass the time when your love one is gone? Farther help if you were pregnant, what can expect out of being a "Single" Mother after the baby is born?

I'm not sure where you're located. My most basis have a family support center.

I would agree with Rose check for you local support group and make friends with some of the wives. Many will be there for you while your going through the first few months of the baby's life. Sometimes if you ask at the hospital they can help you with support.
As for passing time just go about your day like he's just at the base and will be back later. The only other advice I can give you is to take it one day at a time. Think back to how our own mother's survived while dad was deployed or at sea.
