| | I have dated a man in the military. He was in Iraq when we first started talking and he made me believe that I was "the one" and he wanted to marry me, then his leave finally arrived and he came home for two weeks, and then returned to Iraq.... He has barely spoken 5 words to me after he left to go back to Iraq and that was 2 1/2 years ago. Do I think badly of dating military because that? No. I would hope that he was just one bad seed, who couldn't see what he had. I actually like dating military men. Some women can handle it, and some can't.

| | I'm a civilian, and I would definitely date a military man. It takes a lot of conviction and courage to do what they do for a living... thats the same thing it takes to be my sort of guy.

| | I never wanted to or thought I would, but it's looking like I'd have to...I'm enlisting in the AF next week and don't know too many guys content to let their wives be the breadwinners while they pick up and move with them every three years. I definitely need to be with someone in the same boat, to make the constant relocation easier.

| | I have only once , Its hard and it takes alot patience and understanding. You go in knowing you'll play second fiddle to the Army but its something I never minded. I was proud of the man I was with. So yes I would date Army any time.

| | I am married to an ex solider and we dated they whole time we both were deployed was hard then and now that have a litle girl its hardier to be away from home, but is the best thing I ever did.
