When I was adding bases I was station at, my first base was missing.

Pease AFB, NH - Old home of the 509 Bomb Wing - SAC (1st combat use of Nukes)

United States Air Force Academy, CO - Some of us actually worked there instead of going to school.

Think we could get those added to the list.

Greetings:

Are you aware there is (or was) more than one Camp Eagle?

The Camp Eagle that exists today is not the Camp Eagle I was stationed at.

The current Camp Eagle is in the Republic of Korea.

The Camp Eagle I was at was in the Republic of Viet Nam.

It was the headquarters and main base camp for the 101st Airborne Division.

It was located a few miles West of QL-1 (the main North-South highway) about halfway between Phu Bai and Hue.

Thank you.

Greetings:

How about including the Armed Forces Retirement Home in your list of bases?

This is NOT a state veterans home or a Department of Veterans Affairs nursing home.

Located in Washington, D.C., and formerly known as the United States Soldiers' and Airmen's Home, the historic Armed Forces Retirement Home is operated by the Department of Defense.

Each enlisted soldier and airmen (and now, sailors and marines) contributed either twenty-five cents or fifty cents of their monthly pay to support the "Old Soldiers' Home".

Also, all military fines and forfeitures went to support the Home.

It is not supported by taxpayer funds, but was established after the Mexican War with a trust fund created from a ransom paid by Mexico City.

A second Armed Forces Retirement Home is currently under construction in Gulfport, Mississippi.

It was formerly the Naval Home, but was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.

Here is the URL for the official web site of the Armed Forces Retirement Home:

http://afrh.gov/

Thank you.

Yea I have over 400 bases I need to add into the system from users submitting them. We are really backlogged with that so please be patient.
