| | Old Vet that did my 4 years in the Army Security Agency (ASA), Sept. 1964 to August 1968. After training all my duty stations were over there someplace. North Camp Drake northwest of Tokyo Japan, Helemono Base Oahu Hawaii, CO. A 508th ASA Group Yong-Ju-Kol Korea and Herzo Base just northwest of Nuremberg Germany. The ASA was dissolved in the late 1970s and all those bases no longer exist. The ASA mission was top secret electronic intelligence. To all the military serving now, Thank You!

Hood, and at Krabbenloch Kaserne with the 51st Signal Bn, Ludwigsburg, Germany! And I salute all the brave men and women in uniform today who are serving this great nation of ours, here and abroad...thank you one and all!

| | Greetings:
Currently, I reside at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington, D.C.
A singer/songwriter, I'm the officially appointed bard of my Scottish clan, and yes, I wear a kilt.
Here is the URL for my blog, "OUR ETERNAL STRUGGLE":

You can also see some videos of me performing a few of my original compositions at the YOU TUBE web site.
Just look for "writesong".
I like to use my computer to help analyze data for the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (i.e., "S.E.T.I.").
I also use my computer to help watch the Mexican Border and report any criminal activity.
Thank you.

| | I'm Chris, I've been in the Air Force for two and a half years now but I've been in training most of that time, I'm a Korean linguist. Most of my family has been in the military, which is funny because we're not as crazy patriotic as that might sound. After I separate, I plan to become a Surface Warfare Officer in the Navy, but I'll probably take a break between now and then and explore the civilian college life haha

Oye, the name 's Adam Meza and I'm going into the army. Got a health care specialist (field medic) job lined up. Friends and family don't want me to go (or at least not as a field medic) but there's always a need for more medics. So here's to all the people who have been in the line of fire, I'll see ya soon.

Greetings,
I enlisted in the army (1968) and was sent to Vietnam (1969), serving with the 11th ACR. I was wounded and spent three months at 106th Gen. Hospital in Japan and one month at Camp Zama, Japan for rehab. I finished out my enlistment at Ft. Hood, Texas, serving with 2/66 Ar, 2nd AD(1970-71).
I enlisted in the Texas Army National Guard (1981) and was activated and deployed to Iraq (2004), serving with the 124th Cav, 36th ID, TXANG. Upon returning (2005), I decided that it was time to retire (2006) and thus, just faded away.
I have been married 38 years to the same undeserved woman. We have three beautiful daughters and eight wonderful grandchildren. I also retired from the USPS as a Letter Carrier after 32 years while in Iraq. The wife and I are empty nesters and spend most of our time driving to and showing my 1968 Chevelle SS 396, which I bought before I left for Vietnam, at car shows. Intros.

John Cheek,
I ran into your group at the DFW Airport, coming and going during R & R. Sure was a change from the treatment we received upon returning from Vietnam.

| | Hey all, my name is Chris and I am obviously new to this site. I am no longer in the Army, but loved the time I spent there. I have many friends still on active duty and like the signatures that this site has developed. It will probably keep me around here for a while.
