He's getting ready to PCS to USAG Grafenwoehr in Germany sometime in Dec. (hopefully...still waiting on those orders) I can't wait to move there! I'm 21 and we've been married for 3 months now. I'm just getting used to this lifestyle. I'm always up for making new friends, so message me if you'd like!

| | I guess I should wander in and introduce myself as well. I'm Kim, and I've been in the army for... eh, 18 months now. And I'm already on my second MOS, special, right? I started out in the army band, 42R... and decided I belonged where I could actually help someone, so now I'm a 68W Combat Medic. I got released from the prison known as Ft. Sam only a few weeks ago, actually. Haven't been to the big sandbox in the sky yet... but we leave sometime in February to start our pre-mob training stuff, and then head to Iraq. Fortunately for the sake of OPSEC, even I don't know exact dates or cities yet. :P Not much else to tell. I live in Alabama. I'm pretty quiet. I work at the country club nearby for most days. And... that's about it! :)

| | I am new to the site and just had to say hi...and offer my personal and sincerest THANKS to all our Heroes serving around the world. I am a Veteran of the Army and Navy, and my family and I all support our troops wherever they are. My oldest son just got back from his third tour in Iraq....so I know what its like to have a soldier out in the sandbox.
My family and I own a website that was created to honor those serving and those who have served in the military. The web address is http://bluestarsforsafereturn.com.
I would like to invite all of you that we consider Heroes now serving, as well as our Veterans to please submit your names or your Heroes names to one or more of our virtual "WALLS" . These "Walls" are the first International " Walls" of their kind, as well, with soldiers from England and Canada listed on them.
This is not meant to be an advertisement for our site....as much as it is an invitation to honor those who serve us now and have served us all in the past. We do have a web store, too with our own Patriotic designs...but its more important to us that our Heroes names are added.....than making even a single sale.
Again.....Thank you to our Heroes and our Veterans....as well as their families...for their service.
God Bless

| | Hello, my name is Autumn. I am the girlfriend of an Army Reserve, combat medical in Afghanistan. I am also the sister to a brother in the Air Force and a die-hard military supporter. I just started this in hopes that it would make being away from my soldier easier and can use any advice you all are willing to give me at this time.

| | Hey everyone my name is Marilyn and I am in the United States navy. I am currently Stationed in San Diego, CA onboard the USS Bonhomme Richard LHD6 as a Culinary Specialist...yes I am a cook... Its not exactly what I had hoped for but everyone has a job and a commitment to it. and Every job has a purpose. One team one fight! I may not like it at times but I am still going to do it. Thats why you can always cross rate to something more tailored to your liking.... which I plan on doing eventually lol. So if you have any questions about the navy or my rate feel free to contact me. peace!
