| | My husband had me send over Axe Bodywash and Axe Deodorant. I also send lots of individually wrapped snacks..like cookies, crackers, etc. And I also send a lot of candy and my husband even received a razor in one of the boxes. You could also try movies, DVD's or PSP movies. I've also had to send over Copenhagen (with the silver lid, but be careful there's two kinds get the kind with the maroon on the package, the other kind is black(don't get this kind)). I hope this helps you.

| | My husband spent 12 months in Iraq and will be going back soon, for 15 months this time, and into a more dangerous area. It's hard, but we are very proud of him and the rest of our soldiers. I spend alot of time volunteering and being with friends and my kids, so although it's still scary and difficult, we make it by one day at a time...

| | About what to send: from experience I know they dont always have showers available, so wet wipes are very highly sought after. Sunscreen is very important too. That and any kinds of hard candies they can hand out to the Iraqi children, and hand-drawn pictures from the kids are very popular to the dads that are far from thier kids. My kids always draw litle pictures and write I LOVE YOU on the outside of the packages I send, and my husband looked forward to getting those alot.

| | My husband is over in Iraq for the way tooooo many time. I would have thought by now I would have been used to it gotten my routine down but for this time it seems to the worse of all. Each time he comes home he is a changed man and now I fear I won't know him at all. He is in a remote location we don't have internet access and I don't get to talk to him often so its like it was when my dad was station in Vietnam. I will be so glad when his time is up so far thishas been the worse deployment yet.
