They had Army there too?

I think I was stationed in the Mojave dessert forever! Then it was off to Germany!

First after training was Ft. Story. Ah yes, a young private ,fresh out of training, stuck in VA Beach in the middle of summer. After giving me a room key the supply chick told me to go to the shoppette and buy a beach chair since there were a bunch of 3 and 4 day weekends coming up and everyone was mostly working half days. Good times.

My first duty station was Fort Drum. I was there long enough to go through MP cert training for Drum, then shipped off to Iraq for OIF1...blew my knee out after I got back to the states and got medboarded. (I had PSD orders to Germany too! ) :-(

Well, I don't know if being in the NG counts as a duty station, but when I went active after AIT they sent me to Camp Stanley, Korea... then it was Ft. Sill for two months then off to OIF 1. After that, back to Ft. Sill and a few months later, FREEDOM! Nothing feels better than driving out of that gate for the last time... until you have to deal with the VA.
